Above: George Cuddy crosses the 20-mile mark in Chinatown, barely out of breath! IFC members cheered George on at different locations along the route, and at the finish line. George wore a tee-shirt stating "Irish Freedom Committee" on the front and "Support the Political Prisoners" on the back. His shirt will be sent with donations to a prisoners family. |

A multiple marathoner dedicated his run in the Chicago Marathon, October 22, 2006, in support of the families of Irish Republican political prisoners. George Cuddy, a member of the Boston MA Kerins/O'Neill Cumann of the Irish Freedom Committee, has pledged 100% of sponsored donations from his run in the marathon to the Irish Freedom Committee Direct Support© program for the families of Irish Republican political prisoners. Several months of grueling mental and
physical training culminated in the 26.2 mile run on Sunday October
22, 2006. George Cuddy is still seeking sponsors to his ongoing
