There are currently nearly 100 Irish Republican prisoners of conscience serving political sentences in jails in Britain and Ireland. Many of these prisoners are charged on flimsy or circumstantial evidence and are sentenced in three-judge, juryless courts.
Many of these men have been sentenced to 20 and more years while their families and loved ones struggle on the outside.
Please join the Irish Freedom Committee for an afternoon of song and holiday cheer on Sunday November 20th, 2005 for our “2005 Holiday Drive for Families of Irish Republican Political Prisoners”.
The Irish Freedom Committee is currently sponsoring several dozen families of Irish Republican Political Prisoners under our Aire Clainne Direct Support Program©. No funds raised by our efforts go to any banned or proscribed organization but instead go direct to the families of Irish Republican Political Prisoners.
