The Irish Freedom Committee would like to gratefully thank all of our many friends and supporters who helped to pressure the British Government over its callous and inhumane treatment of young Irish prisoner Aidan Hulme.  We believe it is in no small part due to the hard work of so many people in exposing this evil policy of medical neglect, that the disgraceful attempt at extortion  was thwarted, and the £4,000.00 Sterling demanded by the British Government for his medical care was returned to the Hulme family.
